Photography enthusiasts will have a field day (and night) at this place, Jiu Fen 九份. It is nestled up high in the mountains, and served as a mining town in earlier times, particularly the Japanese colonial administration. The alleys are small and packed with tourists you might find it hard to move around especially the stairs area near the tea house.. It happened to be a rainy and misty day on my arrival, I took the opportunity to create the feel of “spirited away” (animation).
