Hi. I Am Cavvy Chin.

My interest in photography is purely as a hobby but recently, it is becoming more of a passion to me. I have learned a lot from many photographers though, but I’ve learned the most from my own mistakes over the past decades. For me, photography is not about the gear but rather an avenue to express in my life journey.

About My Gear

My first DSLR is a NIKON and later switch to Canon 5D Mark II. Lately, most of the shots in my portfolio are captured with my Sony A7 Mark II, Leica Q and backup with my smartphone – Samsung Note10+. It has served me well for all my travelling trips because of its weight and proved that this little gadget is just a tool in the hands of a photographer. In fact digital camera nowadays is so powerful that what really matter is the lenses. Spend your money wisely on a good glass and it will last you a lifetime. My favourites are Sony 35mm/f2.8 and 55mm/f1.8 Zeiss lenses.
